Sewing Machine Care

Morning Class: 10am – 12pm

Evening Class: 6pm - 8pm

How do I use this dang machine!? What’s a bobbin!? Where does the fabric go!? All valid questions you may ask yourself when looking at your machine that we have answers for! Sign up for this class and learn how to use and take care of your sewing machine from Aimee, an experienced quilter and sewing machine guru.

To register and pay for this class, contact me (Jessica) at Dayton Creative Co-op during business hours or call at (509)316-6546. I accept cash, card, and personal check. Once you have registered and paid for this class you will receive the supply list below through email or print out.

Materials needed:

  • Fabric scraps (5-10 fabric scraps no smaller than 5”x7”)

Tools needed:

The classroom is equipped with ironing boards, irons, cutting mat and rulers for you to use, if you are short on a tool or two I have extras for you to borrow during instruction just make sure to reserve the items when signing up for the class.

  • Sewing Machine and Accessories
    *Make sure your machine is operating and bring all your machine feet including a walking foot, power cord, and foot control

  • Machine’s owner’s manual
